Associated Press-One Army recruiter was killed Monday and a second was wounded in a shooting at a recruiting office, and a suspect was arrested, police said.
Police Lt. Terry Hastings said the recruiter was shot when a man in a black SUV opened fire on the office in west Little Rock at about 10:30 a.m.
The vehicle was stopped on Interstate 630 a short time later and a suspect was taken into custody. Hastings said the suspect pulled over and surrendered without incident.

CNN-Berkeley, the famously liberal college town in California, has taken aim at Marine recruiters, saying they are "not welcome in our city."Non-violent is what these terrorists want you to think. They have no value for human life and only feign nonviolence. Don't believe me? I have proof they are crazy whack jobs bent on killing the military. When this failed they had to resort to violence.
Republican lawmakers in Washington fired back this week, threatening to take back more than $2 million of federal funding to the city as well as money designated for the University of California-Berkeley, the campus that became a haven of protests during the Vietnam War.The battle erupted after the Berkeley City Council approved a measure last week urging the Marine recruiters to leave their downtown office.
"If recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome intruders," the item says.
It goes on to say the council applauds residents and organizations that "volunteer to impede, passively or actively, by nonviolent means, the work of any military recruiting office located in the City of Berkeley."

Fox News-Footage from a surveillance camera video released Thursday afternoon shows a biker who might have been involved in the Big Apple bombing and whom authorities are seeking for questioning in the case.Oh, but this history of violence and terrorism has had its roots within the Far Left terrorist driven denizens for a very long time now.
New York City police on Thursday released the video, in which the bicyclist can be seen riding in the dark in the vicinity of the Times Square military recruiting center minutes before the blast.
The footage from a private security camera shows the cyclist riding up to the military station where a small bomb was detonated before dawn. The biker is seen getting off the 10-speed bike at 3:40 a.m. Thursday; the blast occurs three minutes later. It is followed by a brief flash and a cloud of white.

Back to reality:
See how easy it is? See how easy to demonize an opponent by calling them a "terrorist" and then weakly following the dots and making them into lines? See how distasteful and indecent you can be by overlooking that fact that a recruiter in our military was brutally gunned down and another injured.
Only concentrating on the facts that will give you political gain leads us to forgetting that in every story like this there is a human component of loss and tragedy. One which we often overlook because of our own desires.
Update: When I saw this tragic story my first thought was that it would be an inconsequential blurb on the radar screen at memeorandum because it involved the death of a military member. I don't mean that callously either. The Tiller story was burning up the netwaves with a ferociousness of a California wildfire and we know how some are about reporting a tragedy like this. A story which doesn't assist, in fact hurts, their ideological push.
It seemed a simple observation that it would remain buried underneath the false outrage and terrorist clamoring that the crazed and rabid Far Left (Not the normal Left.) has been engaging in over the sad death of Dr. George Tiller, then falling into obscurity. My intent was to make a point about the lack of dignity the inane claims being made by our comrades on the Left and how important it is not to jump to conclusions.
However, I am left with a sad sense of irony that this story brings to the table as it has unfolded. It seems in fact that this was actually a REAL terrorist act committed against two of our troops. Not some dreamed up scenario which perpetuates the myth of a martyr for the "cause." Now it almost seems too easy to hold the feet of the Far-Left to the fire and watch them squeam like the little sanctimonious and carrion b1t@h&s they are. No, not in million years. Let them have the sole moniker of scum of the net.
